Amazon unveils 7-inch touchscreen Echo Show with Alexa support

The major difference between the previous Echo products and the Echo Show is the 7-inch touchscreen that Alexa will be able to use to show the user things.

Amazon notes that all of these voice features will work across Echo devices, so you can use an Echo Dot to call someone with an Echo or Echo Show, and vice versa.

There have been quite a few leaks regarding a new Echo over the past several days, and now Amazon has made everything official.

The Echo Show will allow video conferencing between users having an Echo device or the Alexa app.

Amazon finally launched a new version of its Echo speaker called the Echo Show, which comes with in-built touch screen and Alexa- virtual digital assistant.

Amazon Echo Show is up for pre-order now and ships June 28.

Like past Echo devices, the Echo Show can connect to Pandora or Spotify accounts as well.

Like Microsoft, Amazon.com came too late to the smartphone market. All Echo messaging and calling is free. YouTube videos, lyrics for the songs you love – those are among the things you can see on the screen.

Last month Amazon introduced the Echo Look, which features a voice-controlled camera for taking selfies and comparing your outfits. Alexa is always ready to play your favorite music, provide weather and news updates, answer questions, create lists, and much more.

The Echo Show has eight microphones and beam-forming audio tech to better pick up voice commands. The Huawei Mate 9 features an Alexa app, and certain next-gen Moto handsets will also feature the personal assistant.
