Spicer to be replaced?

Guilfoyle had been in the running for the job after the presidential election, but lost out to Spicer, the former spokesman for the Republican National Committee.

InfoWars, a right-wing news and conspiracy site, reported last week that Guilfoyle was a favorite to replace Spicer, citing White House sources.

Spicer has not commented on the speculation about his job, though he has continued to hold press briefings with reporters this week.

However, Guilfoyle won’t be taking Spicer’s job as Fox News said she’s still under a long term contract.

The Wall Street Journal on Saturday said rumors about Spicer possibly being replaced picked up steam after Trump fired Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey. “I just put it [online] to make them laugh, as a chuckle for a few people“, Kadonaga told Canadian Broadcasting Corp.

But as much as she suggested that Spicer was okay, she then made a public case as to why she is better. I think it’d be a fascinating job.

The Mercury-News asked Guilfoyle if she’d talked to Gavin since these job rumors started flying, and she said, “He was cracking up… he’s like, ‘Oh my goodness, you’re a rockstar, you’d be fantastic, but oh man.’ He was teasing me”.

“Trump gets angry every time he sees those stories”.

In other words, “She’s ours, and you can’t have her.” Ha! And his own mood, according to two advisers who spoke on the condition of anonymity, has become sour and dark, turning against most of his aides – even his son-in-law, Jared Kushner – and describing them in a fury as “incompetent”, according to one of those advisers. I’m at a point in my life where I just want to eliminate any unnecessary noise in my life. Obviously that’s not all Spicer’s fault, but as someone in a highly visible job who wasn’t part of the campaign, he’s a natural target for Trump’s fear that he’s surrounded by people who are disloyal to him. “What I’d love to do is stop them”. Never questioning motives or loyalty.

White House press secretary Sean Spicer is feeling the heat from his boss and Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle is ready to step into his spot.

Those who’ve known him a while say he’s always wanted the job he now holds – thus proving once again you should be careful for what you wish.

“It would be an honor to serve the country”.

Images on Twitter show “Garden Spicer” appearing in dozens of locations, including Washington DC, across British Columbia and outside Universal Studios in Florida.

With a simple printout of Spicer’s face, some glue, and a popsicle stick, University of Victoria geography professor Lisa Kadonaga ingeniously pranked her neighbors.

But the relationship between President Trump and Guilfoyle dates back more than a decade. “I think I enjoy a very straightforward and authentic, very genuine relationship, one that’s built on trust and integrity, and I think that’s imperative for success in that position”.
