Tom Brady ‘does have concussions,’ wife Gisele Bundchen says

Brady, selected last week as the cover star of “Madden NFL 18″ dubbed the G.O.A.T. edition, also said in the interview that he is uncomfortable being called the greatest of all time.

The NFL says they have no record of Tom Brady having a concussion.

Tom Brady’s wife told CBS This Morning her husband played through a concussion on the way to his fifth Super Bowl championship.

“So I’m not willing to jump out there and say ‘the Patriots hid this, they knew Tom had a concussion.’ I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt”. He does have concussions.

“I think the thing is, Skip – and I know the NFL’s concussion policy is going to come under a lot of criticism – but it’s different”. “That kind of aggression, like, all the time, that can not be healthy for you”.

A Patriots spokesman did not expect the team to comment, he said in an email response to CNN. The problem is the Patriots didn’t list the quarterback as having a concussion at any point during the 2016 season, and no concussion or head injury is listed for him in his pro career, according to ESPN.

Since we love giving National Football League scandals with the “-gate” suffix attached to them, you better believe the sports world will be up in arms about Brady, the Patriots and ConcussionGate. He did miss practices with other ailments, including leg, thigh and knee injuries. The retired runway icon revealed that Brady suffered a concussion last season, one of apparently many that he’s had over the years.

Not once last season was a Brady concussion listed by his team, which went on to win the Super Bowl in dramatic fashion in February.

The league is especially – though belatedly – sensitive to concussions, which have been linked to a brain disease that leaves former players forgetful, violent or suicidal.

The NFL Players Association will look into the matter, which is standard protocol.

Brady has yet to comment on his wife’s remarks, which immediately hit headlines on Wednesday (17May17).

When reached by celebrity website TMZ, the NFLPA said that it has no official statement “but we are looking into” Bundchen’s claim. She was not asked a follow-up question about her comments.
