“I’m not concerned about the competition Salah will face in Liverpool“.

Mo Salah dramatically demanded a move from Roma bosses as his Liverpool dream hit the buffers.

Liverpool failed with their opening bid of £28million to sign Salah from Roma. Apparently, they want at least £35 million for the winger.

The proposed deal would equal Liverpool’s transfer record [£35m for Andy Carroll] so it’s certainly a statement of intent by the club as Klopp looks to kick start his summer transfer plans.

Salah, whose career stalled at Chelsea, has gone on to become one of Roma’s most important players, and now is the subject of an approach by Liverpool.

Reports on Tuesday morning claim Liverpool have resumed talks with Italian side AS Roma over the signing of Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah.

“Zero”, Monchi said in a statement posted on Roma website.

Sporting director Monchi, confirming the interest in Salah, said they would not be forced into selling below their valuation of the player but did not rule out Salah leaving.
