Allegiant adds nonstop flights to Orlando, Fort Meyers

The new flights were part of a 28-route expansion, “the largest-ever announcement of new service in the company’s history”. Service between Indianapolis International Airport (IND) and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA) begins on November 17, 2017.

Fares to Fort Myers/Punta Gorda will start as low as $65 one way and $59 one way to Orlando/Sanford. Flights must be purchased by June 22, 2017 for travel by February 13, 2018.

“We’re thrilled to announce more ultra-low-cost service from MidAmerica St. Louis Airport”, said Lukas Johnson, Allegiant senior vice president of commercial.

“In only two years’ time, Allegiant has grown their presence in Indianapolis offering travelers destinations they want to visit, every season of the year”, said Mario Rodriguez, executive director of the Indianapolis Airport Authority.

“We have made significant strides in increasing Stewart International’s connectivity to the NY metropolitan area, including the new bus service Stewart Airport Express”, said Ed Harrison, Stewart’s general manager. “Allegiant’s great low-priced, non-stop service coupled with the exceptional passenger experience that comes with flying from MidAmerica will make this a great complement to our existing flights to Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach and six terrific Florida hotspots”.
