Amazon Anytime: A New Messaging App On The Rise?

According to a recent report, Amazon might be looking for a slice of the messaging market with a new app called Anytime.

The number of messaging tools vying for attention is nothing short of bewildering, with everyone from Apple and Microsoft to Google and Facebook offering ways to communicate with other users of the same platforms. Known as Anytime, the app could supposedly handle SMS, video calling, voice calls, stickers, games, photos, and oh, so much more. Like Whatsapp, it will also encrypt messages. This will be a problem if nobody you know uses the new Amazon messaging app. Then again, it’s not like most popular messaging apps on the market right now don’t offer similar features. Anytime see, s to be a more ambitious messaging platform, one created to contend against other messaging apps in the market such as Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp, Viber and many more.

If at all Amazon decides to launch it in India, then I am sure it is going to have UPI integrated into its system. Amazon has spent some time carrying out multiple surveys from customers to find out what more the company can bring. It is being assumed that the tech-giant will probably launch the app by the end of this year.
