Sharon Killaway, from Kilworth in Cork, posed with her five-month-old twins Zoe and Senan just hours after Beyonce took to Instagram to give the first glimpse of Sir Carter and Rumi.
Irish mom Sharon Kellaway says Beyoncé’s ornate photo revealing her twins to the world was “so unrealistic” that she had to take her own. Sharon, her husband Peter and three older children Darragh, Hollie and Megan watched the picture appear on news sites around the world as the night wore on: “There wasn’t a child in the house washed!”
“I happened to have a quiet moment in the afternoon so I made a decision to take a picture with my twins for the craic”, she said. Ms Kellawa’s six-year-old daughter, Megan clicked wonderful pictures of her mum.
In a glorious picture that is typically Beyonce, the new mum cradled her son and daughter while dressed in a flowing purple gown and a light blue veil.
Much like Beyoncé’s iconic photo shoot, Kellaway’s images are now going viral too.
But Cork mammy Sharon drafted in her six-year-old daughter Megan for a photoshoot of her own. “I pulled it from the dress-up box”, she said. While Sharon was chatting with her friend online and posted her baby pictures on social media.
“I thought it would be seen by family and friends only”.
She added: “I wonder how many photos Beyoncé had to get through to get the right one. But it went mad straight away, I had people asking me to make the post public so they could share it”, said Sharon.
She also said she thought the photoshopped pictures of the superstar with her newborns were not the greatest example of what it is really like to have twins.
Beyonce sent the internet into full-blown meltdown after posting her stunning photoshoot with her twin babies, Sir Carter and Rumi.
