Broncos’ WR Cody Latimer slapped strip club bouncer, got punched and maced

Latimer acknowledged the incident in a statement made to KUSA-TV in Denver but denied the dispute was over the club’s dress code as TMZ reported.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Cody Latimer is responding to reports that he was pepper sprayed by a bouncer during a fight outside a strip club in OH in February.

As a result, the Broncos have since issued an official statement regarding the matter.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Cody Latimer is trying to move on from a forgettable night but new released video won’t let him.

In the footage, you see Latimer with his arms out between his group and the bouncer. When it was taken outside, Latimer appears to slap the bouncer, and then gets pepper sprayed. Latimer’s uncle, meanwhile, lunged at the bouncer, and got KTFO’ed.

He tweeted a response later Sunday in which he said he has “been through so many positive life changes and have grown so much since February 20, and this situation is in the past”. “It happened six months ago. But I get the world we live in and all the attention we have on us”, said Latimer, who is entering the final season of his rookie contract. Although I was just trying to settle things down, I know I have to be careful of the situations I put myself in because I expect a lot of myself.
