Don’t Miss: Varun Dhawan makes Times Square dance to Tamma Tamma

IIFA was a very starry affair and as it was aired last night on Colors TV, we know the highlights of the whole awarding process. Taking this opportunity, Karan Johar who was the host for the evening made a decision to add “Nepotism Rocks” during the show a little too often and accompanying him was his co-host Saif Ali Khan.

But that hasn’t stoped Karan and Saif from making jokes about it as we hear they kept on chanting, “Nepotism rocks…”

Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan, who enthralled one and all present in Times Square with his energetic performance at IIFA 2017 Stomp, recently said that performing at New York’s Times Square was an “amazing” experience for him. “You are here because of your pappa“, Saif quipped. “You are here because of your papa” said Saif Ali Khan, referring to Varun’s father and popular filmmaker David Dhawan. Varun retorted with, “You are here because of your mummy”.

The trio then shouted in chorus, “Nepotism rocks!“.

Soon, Johar joined them and said he was in the industry because of his father, filmmaker Yash Johar. According to Kangana, Karan Johar was a flag-bearer of nepotism and that he intentionally casts only star kids in his movies, hinting towards his 2012 film Student Of The Year. But this dig further continued, when Varun recited the lines of Karan Johar’s film’s song, “Bole Chudiyan, Bole Kangna….” to which Karan immediately replied, “Kangna naahi bole toh achha hai…”

With this hilarious comment, the audience were laughing as they were reminded of the controversy that Kangana Ranaut had sparked when she debuted on the show, Koffee With Karan. “The duo also sang ‘Bole Chudiya Bole Kangana” intentionally to take a dig at Kangana Ranaut’s nepotism remark.
