Game of Thrones season 7: Sophie Turner warns Sansa will be ‘unlikeable’

Cast member Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark in the show, poses at the world premiere for season 7 of the television series Game of Thrones.

The face of their leader, the Night King, was beamed onto a screen outside the venue.

The 21-year-old British actress said in an interview with W magazine that Williams has been her “rock” throughout the ups and downs of the HBO show’s success. She says she will be “an emotional wreck for a year”.

A group of White Walkers descended on central London earlier this week ahead of the series launch. Sophie Turner was a teenager when she auditioned for the role of Sansa, and since then, she said, she has spent years developing two identities: her own, and her character’s. I’m really not looking forward to it. “It annoys me that people only like the feminine characters when they act like male characters”. And the ability to kind of hopefully bring the people that she loves back to her or create a safe haven if they do come back to her. “This season, it’s really interesting”, she said.

At the season seven premiere, Turner told INSIDER they hang out as often.

Called “Dragonstone”, the first episode picks up where the final instalment of season six closed, with Jon Snow and Sansa Stark ruling the North at Winterfell. The start of the episode sees a large gathering and a notorious plotter addressing his followers.

“It’s more about her figuring out how to treat that power and how to surround herself with the people that are best for her”, she added.
