The award for Best Music Direction went to Pritam while Varun Dhawan won the award for Best Actor In Comic Role.
Neerja won the award for Best Film while AnirudhRoy Chaudhary won Best Director award for Pink.
Veterans Shabana Azmi and Anupam Kher won best supporting actors, for “Neerja” and the Dhoni biopic respectively.
The event witnessed several high-octane performances. In the film, Shahid Kapoor portrayed the role of Punjabi rockstar, Tommy Singh, who is coping with a drug addiction.
Unlike previous editions, no worldwide stars were part of the IIFA celebrations this year.
