Today, the Chinese company teased the upcoming reveal of the Meizu Pro 7 on its official Twitter handle, which somewhat confirms we’re very close to a formal announcement. Jeffrey has also posted some images, which we don’t know are taken by the Pro 7 or not.
Meizu will unveil its next flagship, the Pro 7, on July 26. Another piece of information about the Pro 7, which might or might not be accurate, is the price of the flagship. It will run on Android 7.0 Nougat-based Flyme OS. The PRO 7 duo are equipped dual rear cameras. The Pro 7 could be Meizu’s first smartphone to boast a dual-camera setup. Both will showcase the new 2-inch secondary screen. The secondary screen supports multiple functions such as it can work as a view finder for the dual cameras, for displaying notifications, playing games, and it can even work when the smartphone is turned off. The phone is also rumored to offer a 5.2-inch Full HD display, dual 12MP camera at the back, and a 16MP shooter up front.
Moreover, the device will come with a fingerprint sensor and will be sporting a USB Type-C charging port.
As far as pricing is concerned, Meizu Pro 7 is rumoured to be priced at 2,799 Yuan which is approximately Rs 26,610 while Meizu Pro 7 Plus is said to be priced at 3,299 Yuan which is approximately Rs 31,353 and 3,799 Yuan which is approximately Rs 36,117 for the higher variant.
Meizu is rumored to launch a Pro 7 Plus variant alongside the regular version, and it’s possible the Plus model could be powered by the Exynos 8895.
