Milan and Chelsea target Belotti absent from Torino kit launch

Chelsea, on the other hand, are looking for a new striker with manager Antonio Conte having told Diego Costa he is not part of his plans this season. However, AC Milan are now said to hold a concrete interest in the centre forward, and are desperate to add him to their already incredible ranks.

His predatory instincts had been suggested as potentially lethal before, but the recently-finished campaign saw the 23-year-old take a step up performance-wise that few believed the former Palermo man would be capable of.

Belotti has a €100m release clause in his contract but that is only valid for clubs outside of Serie A, and Chelsea have been unwilling to meet that price tag.

Torino dropped a huge hint that Andrea Belotti will leave, but although Il Gallo has reportedly given the all-clear, Milan must raise their bid.

The Milan giants are splashing the cash this summer as they look to put together a squad to challenge for the Serie A title next season.

Milan have reportedly made an offer of 40 million euros and also thrown in M’Baye Niang and Gabriel Paletta, but it appears that Torino want 80 million euros alongside the two players in order to complete the deal.

Belotti, who scored a freakish 28 goals and provided seven assists in all competitions for Torino, is being chased by the likes of PSG, Chelsea and Arsenal, as well as Manchester United.

They haven’t been shy at spending money though this summer, signing Hakan Calhonoglu, Andre Silva, Andrea Conti, Mateo Musacchio, Ricardo Rodriguez, Fabio Borini, as well as the marquee signing of Leonardo Bonucci.
