Old South crash kills motorcyclist

On Saturday, July 15, at approximately 7:50 p.m., Worcester Police responded to the area of 32 Francis Street for a report of a motorcycle accident that involved a collision with a parked vehicle.

Police say the motorcyclist went head on into a pole right before 11 p.m. Sunday night.

Channel said the names of the men will not be released until the sheriff’s office is sure family have been notified.

Members of Worcester Police’s Crash Reconstruction Unit are investigating the death.

Robert Addison died York Hospital from injuries sustained in a July 4 crash near the area North Sherman and Wallace streets in York. She said the 56-year-old man was unable to avoid the first wrecked motorcycle and struck it. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
