See Camilla’s New Birthday Portrait – by One of Princess Diana’s Favorite Photographers

It’s been a big month of milestones for the royal family.

Her entry into the Royal Family was certainly not text book, or indeed welcomed by some, but you would never have known it from the right royal bash thrown for the Duchess of Cornwall’s 70th birthday.

He added: “I’m honored to document their royal highnesses the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall on this very important date”.

Testino was one of hundreds of guests at a Clarence House garden party on Thursday for the Duchess to acknowledge the people she works with, from charity bosses to celebrities. In a statement, the photographer said he was “honored” to capture the couple “on this very important date”, noting that after he first photographed her in 2006 he “discovered a kind and handsome person with a wonderful sense of humor”.

Valentine is widely credited as the person who has helped Camilla to find her own sense of modern, personal style since she married Prince Charles in 2005.
