Senator Heller’s Las Vegas Office Broken Into

Dean Heller, R-Nev., is shown during a press conference at the Grant Sawyer State Office Building in Las Vegas. KVVU reported the break-in occurred on Sunday afternoon, also according to police.

LasVegasNow.com reported that the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that someone broke into Heller’s office on Sunset but would not confirm the presence of a threatening note.

Local CBS station8 News NOW reports that there was also a “threatening note” left at the office, citing a source close to the matter.

Neither the LVMPD nor Heller’s office immediately responded to TPM’s requests for comment. For despite the efforts of most Republican congresspeople, not everyone in the party is on board with the American Health Care Act as-is – especially Sen.

“We can’t comment on/discuss ongoing investigations” said Heller’s spokesperson.

Senator Heller is one of several republican senators that have previously opposed the healthcare bills to replace Obamacare.

Heller has recently been the subject of pressure to support the Senate GOP’s new health care bill and in the hot seat over his wavering support of the legislation.
