Splatoon 2 Gets a Final, Limited-Time Demo Today

Did you enjoy the Splatfest and did it convince you to pick up Splatoon 2 when it launches on July 21, 2017 for the Nintendo Switch? If you’re curious about what the game offers and want to spend some time splatting others with colorful ink online, today’s your lucky day.

The Splatfest demo will run from 3:00pm to 7:00pm PT, or 6:00pm to 10:00pm if you’re on the East coast, for today only. This time around, players will be fighting to prove which is better, cake or ice cream?

We are still waiting on Europe’s results, but there are some rumblings that North America, Europe, and Australia’s results are all combined. Then when the game event starts at the aforementioned times, you can start duking it out in Turf War matches with players around the world.

If you’re still on the fence about picking up Splatoon 2, this is the ideal chance to see whether or not the unique first-person shooter is for you. The team that has covered the most area with their ink color wins.

Good news for the Nintendo Switch owners – now you will have another opportunity to try out the Splatoon 2 before it officially makes its way to the market next year. The Splat Roller, Splat Charger, Splat Dualies, and Tentatek Splattershot will be up for grabs for you to test out.

Nintendo says the demo will include four weapon loadouts to choose from, and four maps to play on, three of which are brand-new for Splatoon 2.
