Newly-engaged couple receives wedding present from Garth Brooks

A lucky couple at a concert in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma got just that over the weekend.

So, he first surprised her with tickets to the Garth Brooks concert in Oklahoma City, and as the singer played his acoustic love song “Unanswered Prayers“, he dropped down to one knee.

He then said that he and his wife Trisha Yearwood would cover the costs of the pair’s honeymoon if they made a decision to go to Hawaii.

Bargsley says he’s been planning the proposal for three months.

After he found out they hadn’t set plans for their romantic getaway yet Brooks said, “if you pick Hawaii, Ms. Yearwood and I will pay for it, OK?”

The crowd began to cheer loudly for the proposal and Brooks’ generous honeymoon offer.

Later on, Trisha Yearwood joined Brooks on stage and – like any good spouse – he ran the expense by his wife. “Congratulations!” She then jokingly said, “Nobody else can get engaged tonight!” Bargsley posted the gleeful news to his Facebook wall on Saturday.
