Trump tells Calvo he’s behind Guam “1000%”

“As far as I’m concerned, as an American citizen, I want a president that says that if any nation such as North Korea attack Guam, attack Honolulu, attack the west coast, they will be met with hell and fury”, Calvo told Fox News’s Tucker Carlson Wednesday. “All over the world they’re talking about Guam”.

The strong tone President Trump took against North Korea that has been bashed by many political commentators in the mainstream media does not seem to bother the Guam governor the least little bit. But regardless, our military is so incredible, and there’s no partisanship there, believe me.

Trump reciprocated the sentiment and suggested that the stalemate between the U.S. and North Korea could have had a different outcome, had he been the president in years past.

Trump then went on to say that he should have been in the job eight years ago, suggesting that he would have prevented the current situation from taking place.

“There is concern and worry but there’s no panic”, he added. You are safe. We’re with you 1,000%. Guam elects a delegate to the U.S. House, but that delegate isn’t allowed to vote on a bill’s final passage.

Not everyone is sanguine.

Activists who are advocating Guam’s independence from the United States argue that the presence of the military installations has made the island a magnet for attack. “Really, the answer is not THAAD or more weapons, but demilitarization and thinking about how we can create peace in the region and have the de-proliferation of nuclear weapons, both in Korea and in the United States”.

“Guam is more than a military base”.

He said there had only been a few booking cancellations from South Korea.

“They could TRY to hit us. and that in itself might just start WWIII”, she said.

Beyond having commonsense discussions and drafting emergency plans, O’Neal’s daily routine hasn’t changed.

Guam Governor told President Donald Trump he supports him ‘1,000 percent.’ The governor is shown walking with his wife, Christine Lujan Sonido. “We need someone with a cool head in charge”.

“Eddie, I have to tell you you’ve become extremely famous”, Mr. Trump told the Guam governor. We are rock solid, and we have the best in the world by a factor of five.
