Dulquer Salmaan Makes Bollywood Debut Alongside Irrfan Khan

Mithila Palkar from the popular web series, Girl In The City and Little Things, will portray the female lead in the film. The charming star is one of the finest actors in South.

Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan, who has been part of many successful films, such as Mani Ratnam’s O K Kanmani and Anjali Menon’s Bangalore Days, is all set to make his debut in Bollywood.

As for the story of this untitled film, we hear that it is about a road trip of Dulquer Salmaan and Irrfan Khan who play friends.

Now, speculations are rife regarding his big debut in Bollywood. Now, the dialogue writer of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and 2 States, Akarsh Khurana is directing this interesting plot joining hands with Ronnie Screwvala. Earlier Abhishek Bachchan was considered for Dulquer’s role, but he had to bow out since the dates clashed with the ones he committed for JP Dutta’s war drama Paltan. “The film rolls by the month end in Kerala.” added the source. However, he didn’t get much success in his Bollywood innings.

Dulquer is gearing up for the release of Bejoy Nambiar’s Malayalam-Tamil bilingual, Solo, and Soubin Shahir’s Malayalam film Parava.

The 31-year-old actor has delivered critically acclaimed and commercially successful films in Malayalam and Tamil since his 2012 debut, Second Show.
