The next Moto phone may be a throwback to 2015.
Moto X4 smartphone is expected to be announced at an event in Brazil on August 24.
The subtle “X” shape formed by the light at the center of the Moto X4’s dual cameras is a nice touch, as are the notches to give it more of a DSLR-like vibe.
Lenovo is definitely looking to conclude a protracted series of 2017 Moto-branded smartphone releases in style, even though technically the company’s latest flagship model is already out. And thanks to a leak by Android Authority, we have some new details. In North America, Latin America, and Europe, the Moto X4 will be equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage.
Last week we got confirmation that some long ago leaked shots of the upcoming Moto X4 did in fact depict the phone’s final design, and earlier today the Brazilian equivalent to the US FCC outed quite a number of live images of the prototype that went through its testing.
Beneath the display, we’ve got the fingerprint sensor while above the display, as rumoured, is the 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1.0µm pixel size, which Motorola says is designed for ultra low-light selfies and will come with an Adaptive Low Light mode. On top, we can find the 5MP front-facing camera with LED flash with an aperture of f/1.7 and also an earpiece. Apart from that, the X4 is also supposed to have a mid range specification list. What do you think of the Moto X4 and do you plan to buy one?
Moto X4 has leaked previously as well. Further, the next-generation Moto X device is pegged to feature IP68 rating, which makes it water and dust resistance.
The entire package will be powered by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery that also comes with Motorola’s TurboCharging feature, which Motorola says will offers hours of power off just minutes of charge.
