Tesla Model 3 battery output revealed

The news site says Musk revealed during a conference call hosted by Goldman Sachs for bondholders that the Model 3 will have a pack just over 50 kWh with a range of about 220 miles, and a “long-range” version with a 75 kWh pack good for about 310 miles.

The Gold Coast Bulletin reported this week it received a text message claiming an unnamed athlete has spent “many nights” at the actress’ Gold Coast address as she continues to film Aquaman Down Under. “Ashlee Vance’s biography is mostly correct, but also rife with errors and never independently fact-checked, despite my request that he do so”, Musk said, adding: “Of all the bogus anecdotes, this one troubles me the most”. They’re citing language that exempts Gigafactory 1 from the usual curbs that would prevent Tesla from using the factory as collateral for even more debt. Tesla is targeting production of right-hand-drive cars to begin in 2019.

On its website and in its dealerships, Tesla offers the option of “full self-driving capability” for $48 a month or $4,000 after delivery for the Model S.

The result: Buyers of these unsecured, high-yield bonds could find themselves buried under a mountain of newer, higher-priority debt sold in the future. The Model 3, Tesla’s first mass-market vehicle, has received rave reviews from people who have gotten behind the wheel.

As an owner of all Tesla models and a declared fan of Elon Musk, Jason’s opinion is highly biased, but it’s one of the few we have at our disposal right now. Tesla anticipates the addition of Model 3 production this year will eventually lift plant volume to almost 500,000 vehicles a year. That represents a massive increase over Tesla’s current production rate-and it may aggravate tensions with workers, according to the The Daily Beast.

The electric vehicle maker revolves around constant iteration, but it also has to meet the expectations of customers who bought expensive add-ons assuming they’d eventually get full self-driving features.

Musk told analysts that the Model Y’s production plan will be a step apart from what Tesla – or the rest of the industry – is now doing.

“There will be nothing close to it”, he hinted, although providing no details.
