Weather Authority Forecast for Saturday, August 12th

Temperatures appear to be sticking in the upper 70s and lower 80s throughout much of the week as well. Temperatures reaching the upper 90s in the afternoon with the possibility of an isolated storm or two once again. Next weekend, we’ll have highs in the mid 80s. Slow strengthening is forecast while curving away from the USA east coast. Thunderstorm chances return Friday with temperatures in the mid-80s under partly sunny skies.

And Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high near 84.

A cooler day for us here on the High Desert with clouds overhead for most of the day today.

By the end of the week a couple of fronts with low pressure could deliver a few rounds of showers on Friday into early Sunday.

High 79F. Winds N at 10 to 15 miles per hour. Monday through Thursday should be partly to mostly sunny with any pop-up showers or storms confined to the mountains. Low temps will be in the mid 70s Sunday night.

Showers and storms look to be more numerous for Monday and Tuesday. Rain will continue into the evening and overnight hours but showers will struggle to make it to the I-20 corridor.
