Twitter Reacts To Detroit Lions' Win Over New York Giants

The last time that the NY Giants scored over 20-points was in Week 12 previous year against the Browns.

Ben McAdoo wasn't in position to counter any suggestions for fixing his broken football team, which is why he twice answered "we'll consider everything" in the shocking aftermath of the Giants' 24-10 loss to Detroit Monday night at home.

He'll likely be a game-time decision tonight, just like he was in week one. They had four sacks and one interception in the first half alone. Fixing them is another.

The Giants' season is far from over, but history has proven that starting a season 0-2 significantly decreased a team's chances of making the playoffs. Gronkowski got hurt in the second half, but assuming he's fine, I think the Patriots proved they'll be just fine this season. We were going to get everybody's best shot. Remember, both the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets are both in the NFL.

"We talk about playing complete, complementary football, but by no stretch of the imagination did we get that done tonight". For the first time in NY history, they have lost the first two games by 14 points or more.

"We don't have time to handle things with kid gloves here".

"I'm very surprised", safety Landon Collins said of the offensive struggles. "It's not working so we're going to look to make some more changes this week like we did last week".

The Giants return to action next weekend against the rival Philadelphia Eagles.

Odell Beckahm Jr. only caught 4 passes for 36 yards receiving for the Giants in his return from an ankle injury.

The Giants rushed for a paltry 35 yards against the Dallas Cowboys in week one.

"He got some treatment this morning", McAdoo said.

Justin Rogers, James Hawkins, John Niyo and Bob Wojnowski of The Detroit News predict the outcome of Monday's Lions at Giants game (8:30 p.m., ESPN, Channel 7). Besides, the Giants' offensive line is a mess.

Left guard Justin Pugh could be an option, but only if the Giants get healthy at right tackle. He was sacked five times by the Lions. The third-year left tackle has struggled since taking over the starting job late in his rookie season.

"That's something we'll look at and talk about", he said. They played a lot of line stunts, played aggressively there. The Giants were facing third down just twice on the ten-play-drive. "So, it was a different approach defensively".
