Warehouse Fire Spreads to Homes in Stockton

STOCKTON — On Thursday, crews battled a massive warehouse fire near East Weber Avenue & B Street.

It is believed that the fire started in a large pallet yard.

Fire crews claim that strong winds drove the fire through several commercial properties.

Five houses were destroyed and five others were damaged by the fire. Numerous cars were also damaged.

High winds continued to blow flames for hours after the fire.

Drivers are asked to stay clear of the streets and other areas.

Residents can use the Stribley Community Center at 1760 E. Sonora St., Stockton as an evacuation center.
